The face says it all when tasting an ex-pat's wineI promise I was trying really hard but clearly the fruitless mouthful of acidity I had just swallowed had led me to pucker my lips like a drawstring pouch.
You could use a small jewelry pouch or drawstring bag to protect the pearls. A pearl necklace is a great item of jewelry. It is a staple of culture and
Does anyone have a cute, easy pattern for a small, drawstring pouch?

I'm going to make my son a little velvet drawstring pouch that is lined with satin, and has a drawstring maybe, to put his "gold" into. The type used by men in the pirates / Renaissance period. Does anyone have a pattern for something like this? (I'm sure it sounds very basic, but I'm a quilter, and I'm not sure how I'll make the lining and drawstring work!)
I found a medieval site that has several on it. It's almost to the bottom of the page.

The first two are your better bet for period stuff.
Sounds like a fun time. Good luck!

It's not that hard to make. Sew together the velvet and satin, then fold over each end about one inch (like a hem, but leave the sides open). Then fold the cloth in the middle and sew up the sides until you get to the top hem. Thread a cord through the holes in the hem and you are set.

For coins, you could wrap tin foil around cardboard circles, and write 5, 10, or whatever on the tin foil. Make nice big coins about 2" across. If you didn't mind the mess, sprinkle in some glitter as gold dust. You can even make paper money.

You shouldn't be practicing in premarital sex in the first place..... BUT, if you must, I would try sites like Amazon or Ebay.

Online Jewellery Business - velveteen drawstring pouches, which colour?
Apr 03, 2008 by Billy | Posted in Fashion & Accessories
If you bought jewellery online and it arrived in one of those little velvet drawstring pouches, which colour of pouch would you prefer?
It's beach themed jewellery if that makes a difference.
Or maybe you'd rather it was boxed?
Thanks for your help.
why not offer both? since it is beach themed i think if you can get it try the pouches in light blue or may be coral color. if not go with black. do the boxes too. when you ship, let the customer choose the packing option.
