If you are just starting out in the industry as a promotional products distributor your best bet for finding suppliers is to join an industry trade association such as ASI or PPAI in the usa, or Promodirect in Australia (and APPA down the track once you get larger).
These associations will be able to provide you with a list of suppliers etc, although you will still need to establish your credibility with each. Your will also need to show you are serious about being a promotional distributor rather than just trying to bypass a level in the supply chain.
On the other hand if you are a company or end user of promotional products asking this question, you have no need for this info. The largest suppliers only sell through distributors, so best to find a distributor in your area who can then help you with catalogues etc. If you're in the USA and can't find a distributor perhaps someone like http://www.4imprint.com is an option (can't personally vouch for them tho), or in Australia I can help.
