Pit Bull Tenant Laws in New Hampshire??? What are my rights...?
Dec 06, 2007 by brad t | Posted in Renting & Real Estate
I have been living in my apt building which contains 3 seperate apts... with my girlfriend and her son who is 11. We have lived here for 2 years with massive turnover when it comes to tenants on the other floors. We live on the second floor and about 4 months ago new tenants moved in above us. When we moved in our landlord questioned us about a cat we owned, but now these new tenants have 3 yessssssssss 3 pit bulls... and lied to my landlord about them.. they have proceeded to build a pen out in the small back parking area that only has 5 parking spots to begin with. We do not go out the back anymore and dont even want to park out back because they just begin to bark viciously,,, is this allowed I mean.//... its actually a little scary... not to mention the constant running back and forth at all times of the day and late night right above us while we are trying to sleep/.
Unless there is an ordinance that bans the breed, it's up to the agreement between the landlord and the tenant. The landlord would have to be pretty thick to not notice a dog pen in the back of the property. Complain to the landlord about the dogs, but don't expect much if he authorized them.

Got a summons to court for underage internal possession RSA 179:10 in New Hampshire, should I get a lawyer?
Oct 03, 2009 by Christy | Posted in Law Enforcement & Police
Hi, I'm a 20 year old female. Last night while walking to my friends car I got stopped by the police, the cops said I smelled like alcohol. He asked for I.D, which I didn't have because I handed my fake off to a friend and didn't bring a real I.D because I never do when I go out with the fake. Anyways I had no ID then he asked to do a field test with a pen, I was not intoxicated but he said I was swaying. He then called my parents, talked to them and then wrote me a citation that stated, internal possession of alcohol, was intoxicated being under the age of 21, being 20 years old. I have a court date later this month. I was wonder if I should get a lawyer or not.
