Thank you card etiquette -- a little help with these situations?

Okay, my husband and I are writing the last of our thank you cards and we're having some trouble....

1. Some guests didn't bring us anything -- not even a card. All the guests whose financial situation was very limited got us at least a card -- which is what we'd expected. But we were a little surprised at the people who didn't get us anything at all because they were all people we would have expected to bring us something (they are financially well-off). I'm a little worried that a gift or card may have stolen or misplaced. In any case, should we just send a thank-you card to thank them for coming? Or do you not send a thank-you unless the person gives a gift?

2. On a similar note, a few guests did not bring gifts to the wedding and they mentioned later that they had forgotten but would get it to us later. It's been over a month since the wedding and we haven't seen anything from them. Should we send them a "thank you for coming" note and just leave it at that? Or should we continue to wait for the gift before sending the note?

3. My uncle and his wife weren't able to attend the wedding and so my grandfather brought a gift from them. When my grandfather gave it to me he said, "Your uncle says he thinks that this is for you." It was a bag filled with a random assortment of unwrapped items -- souvenirs from the Grand Canyon, magnets, and a promotional tote bag. It seems like it was a mistake and that they got the bags switched or something. Should I mention the items in the thank-you? It seems like a really awkward situation -- particularly since I am not close to them.

Whether they gave a gift or not I would send a thank you to be nice and just say "Thank you for sharing our special day with us" or something like that. I do not think you really need to say thank you for coming and for the blender. I never mention a gift name for the wedding, baby showers, etc. For the third situation-only you know your aunt and uncle and I am not sure why anyone would give that as a wedding gift but if they do not have money right now or you know them and that is their personality then just send a thank you. The cards can simply have "Thank you" printed with you and your husband's name. No specifics. Of course to your closest family-brothers/sisters/parents or best friends you can be more specific.

The best way is to keep it general:

Thank you for your love and support as yours and hubby name start our lives as one together.

So general it doesnt address gifts or attendance. If gifts do come you can then send an email, or a verbal thank you, but dont wait.

I think that you should send thank-you's to all the people who came to the wedding. Wedding gifts are wonderful. Besides the marriage its self, the gift is the next best thing to the wedding. However, the gift is not the reason to send the card. You are thanking the guest for sharing in the celebration with you.

I'd say send thank you cards to everyone even those who didn't give you gifts. Just say something general like "thank you for attending this event and we hope that you had a great time here" or something like that. As for your uncle just say a vague thank you for his "sentiments" and that you enjoy them. A little white lie isn't going to hurt and this way it's vague enough so that whether or not you did recieve the right gift, it's still polite.

Can you enter a GameStop gift card and promotional code (both together) online?

How can I print logos in pens and others promotional items (plastic). Which printer can I use to do the job?

I need to print logos in promotional items like pens, plastic cards, Key chains, and a large variety of plastic based products with different sizes and shapes. How can I do that?? Which printer can I use?? How the process is done??

Thank you in advance...

you can't print it yourself.

find any business whose primary purpose is this (printing logos and names on plastic products).

find a low cost one, it will work for you.
